2. Adults and children 12 years and over can apply up to 3-4 times a day. Children under 12 should only use it on a doctor's advice.
3. Wash your hands with cool water after applying.
4. Store in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed, away from heat and open flame.

Biofreeze is for external use only and comes with the following precautions:

• Do not apply to open wounds, broken, damaged or irritated skin, or if excessive irritation develops.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and other mucous membranes.
• Do not use together with a heating pad or other heat device, and do not bandage or wrap the treated area.
• Do not combine with other ointments, creams, sprays or liniments on the same area.
• Ask a doctor before use if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic or have sensitive skin.
• Stop use and see a doctor if your symptoms get worse, last more than 7 days, or clear up and come back. If swallowed accidentally, seek immediate medical help or contact a poison control centre.

Biofreeze can occasionally cause a rash, burning or stinging sensation on the skin. If this happens, stop use and rinse the area with cool water for at least 20 minutes; if irritation continues, see a doctor.
