Breathe Right Sleep Strips 30 Pack
What 500,000+ customers say about medino:
Description
Breathe Right Sleep Strips 30 Pack are drug-free nasal strips, supplied as 30 single-use strips and registered as a medical device. Each strip is a flexible, spring-like band that sticks above the nostrils and gently lifts open the nasal passages to allow better airflow. Because they work from the outside of the nose, they offer a way to ease a stuffy nose from colds or allergies without using a spray or medicine.
Key Features
- Drug-free: The strips lift the nose open mechanically and can be used with any medicines, according to the manufacturer's leaflet.
- For nasal congestion: Intended to give temporary relief from congestion and stuffiness caused by colds and allergies, and from breathing difficulty due to nasal septal deviation. They are not an alternative to definitive surgical correction.
- May help with snoring: By making it easier to breathe through the nose instead of the mouth, the strips may help reduce or even eliminate snoring. The manufacturer recommends using them nightly for best results.
- Day or night use: Can be worn during the day or at night, for up to 12 hours a day.
- Individually wrapped single-use strips: Each strip is packed in its own wrapper and is for one use only.
How do Breathe Right nasal strips work?
The strip has a spring-like band that tries to return to its flat shape once stuck to the nose. This gently lifts the sides of the nose and opens the nasal passages for better airflow. Place the strip neither too high nor too low on the nose, as shown in the leaflet.
Can Breathe Right strips treat sleep apnoea?
No. They are not intended to treat sleep apnoea. If you have symptoms of sleep apnoea, consult your doctor.
Which size of Breathe Right strip should I choose?
Breathe Right makes small/medium and large strips. The manufacturer says small/medium strips fit 75% of noses, and large strips are for adults with a larger nose. Check the size printed on the pack before buying.
Can children use Breathe Right nasal strips?
They are not for children under 5 years of age. The manufacturer suggests the small size for children over 5 and advises parents of young children to help with applying and removing the strips.
Usage and Instructions
- Clean: wash and dry your nose to remove dirt and oils. The adhesive will not stick properly to wet, oily or moisturised skin.
- Place: remove the liner and place the strip on the nose, just above where the nostrils flare out, neither too high nor too low.
- Apply: press down the ends and rub the strip to secure it.
- Remove: wash your face with warm water for 10 seconds, or remove in the shower. Loosen the ends and lift the strip gently and slowly from both sides.
Each strip is for single use only. Do not reapply it, and use a fresh strip each time. Strips can be used daily but not for more than 12 hours per day. Do not cut the strips. Do not use if the package is damaged.
