Description
Calpol Six Plus Orange Flavour contains paracetamol to relieve pain and bring down fever in a range of conditions including cold and flu, headache, toothache, earache, post-immunisation fever, sore throat and other aches and pains.Suitable for children aged 6 years and over, as well as adults.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
Each 5ml contains: 250mg of Paracetamol

Flavour, white sugar DA 13780 (containing propylene glycol (E1520))
Flavour, Orange 510652E
Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218)
F,D and C Yellow No. 6 Soluble/Sunset Yellow FCF (E110)

Usage and Instructions
Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.
Always use the syringe supplied with the pack.
Do not give more medicine than the label tells you to. If your child does not get better, talk to your doctor.
Child's Age: 6-8 years
Give a 5ml spoonfull 4 times a day
Child's Age: 8-10 years
Give 7.5ml (5ml + 2.5ml) up to 4 times a day.
Child's Age: 10-12 years
Give 10ml (5ml + 5ml) up to 4 times a day.
Child's Age: 12-16 years
Give 10-15ml (Two to three 5ml doses) up to 4 times a day
Child's Age: Adults and children over 16 years
Take 10-20ml (Two to four 5ml doses) up to 4 times a day:
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings
Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not give this medicine if your child has ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients.
Contains paracetamol – do not use more than one product containing paracetamol at the same time.
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period
Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist
Side Effects
It is rare to have side effects with paracetamol but some allergic reactions have been recorded such as skin rashes.
