Cellusan Carmellose Sodium 1% Eye Drops are lubricating, preservative-free drops for moderate to severe dry eyes. They also protect against the burning, irritation and discomfort that come with dry eyes or exposure to environmental factors. The drops can be used with contact lenses, and the vials can be closed again after opening.

How often can I use Cellusan eye drops?

Put 1 drop in the affected eye or eyes 2-3 times a day, as required.

Can I use Cellusan with contact lenses?

Yes. The drops are suitable for all contact lenses. Put 1-2 drops directly on the lens before you insert it.

Can I reuse a Cellusan vial?

Yes, within limits. Once opened, each vial can be used for up to 12 hours.

Will Cellusan blur my vision?

In rare cases, the thickness of the solution can cause slight, temporary blurring of vision after use. Wait a few seconds before doing anything that needs clear vision.

Active ingredient: Carboxymethylcellulose sodium (carmellose sodium) 1% w/v.

Other ingredients: Lactic acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate and water for injections.

Put 1 drop in the affected eye or eyes 2-3 times a day, as required. If you wear contact lenses, put 1-2 drops directly on the lens before application.

Once opened, each vial can be used for up to 12 hours. Wait at least 10-15 minutes before using any other eye medicine.

For external eye use only. The following precautions apply:

• Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
• Do not use if the container is damaged or after the expiry date.
• Do not touch the eye with the tip of the vial.
• Do not swallow.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
