Clarinaze Allergy Control is a nasal spray that contains mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid medication. It helps relieve inflammation and symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and a runny or blocked nose caused by hay fever or perennial allergic rhinitis.
Who is Clarinaze Allergy Control for?
Clarinaze Allergy Control is for adults aged 18 and older to treat the nasal symptoms of hay fever and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Who should not use Clarinaze Allergy Control?
Clarinaze Allergy Control should not be used by those who are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, have an untreated infection in the nose, have recently had a nose operation or injury, or are hypersensitive to mometasone furoate or other ingredients in the medication.
What should be considered before using Clarinaze Allergy Control?
Before using Clarinaze Allergy Control, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have a history of tuberculosis, other infections, taking other corticosteroid medicines, or cystic fibrosis. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have weakened immune system, an infection of the nose or throat, persistent nose or throat irritation, or experience blurred vision.
Can Clarinaze Allergy Control be taken with other medicines?
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter medications, as some may increase the effects of Clarinaze Allergy Control. Avoid contact with people with measles or chickenpox if your immune system is not functioning well. If you are taking prescribed corticosteroids, talk to a pharmacist before using Clarinaze Allergy Control.
Will Clarinaze make me feel sleepy?
No, Clarinaze is not expected to cause you to be drowsy or less alert.
How do I use Clarinaze?
Two sprays into each nostril, daily. But once your nasal symptoms calm down, go for just one spray per nostril daily. Always aim for the lowest possible dose that keeps your symptoms under control. Don't go over four sprays per day and don't exceed the recommended dose.
Ingredients
Each Spray delivers 50 micrograms Mometasone Furoate
Also contains: Dispersible Cellulose, Glycerol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Polysorbate 80, Benzalkonium Chloride, Purified Water
Usage and Instructions
Use only in the nose.
Shake gently before use.
Prime by pumping 10 times before initial use, or 2 times if unused for 14 days or more, until a fine mist is produced.
For adults aged 18 and over:
Use 2 sprays in each nostril once a day. Do not use more than 4 sprays a day. Once your symptoms improve, try reducing to 1 spray in each nostril once a day; this may be sufficient to maintain relief.

Warnings
Consult your doctor:
If you are having trouble controlling your symptoms.
If your symptoms have not improved after using Clarinaze Allergy Control for 14 days.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use:
Continuously for more than 3 months without consulting your doctor.
In children under 18 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding without talking to your doctor first.
Do not pierce the nasal applicator.
