Description
Designs and colours may vary
The Curaprox CS 3960 Super Soft Toothbrush is a manual toothbrush for adults with 3,960 Curen filaments. Curaprox describes the soft filaments as gentle on teeth and gums while still giving effective cleaning, and positions it for anyone starting a gentler brushing habit.
Key Features
- 3,960 Curen filaments: The CS 3960 has a very dense head of soft Curen filaments, which Curaprox says gives soft cleaning that is gentle on teeth and gums.
- Super soft: Curaprox lists the softness of this brush as super soft, for people beginning a gentler and more gum-friendly way of brushing.
- Filaments that stay firm when wet: Curaprox says Curen filaments are stiffer than nylon and remain just as stable in the mouth as when they are dry.
- Gum care and sensitive teeth: Curaprox lists gum care and sensitive teeth among the uses this brush is recommended for. It has a regular head size and is for adults.
How does the Curaprox CS 3960 differ from the CS 1560 and CS 5460?
Curaprox positions the CS 3960 between the two. Its name gives the filament count: 3,960 Curen filaments, compared with 5,460 on the CS 5460.
Can I choose the colour of my CS 3960?
Not at the moment. Curaprox has temporarily removed the colour configurator on its UK site, so the colour of each brush is selected at random.
Will the CS 3960 wear out faster because it has so many filaments?
Curaprox says its ultra-fine filaments are designed and tested to keep teeth healthy through 3 months of everyday use. If the filaments look frayed and bent after only a few days or weeks, Curaprox says the cause is often too much pressure or a poor brushing technique."
Ingredients
Materials: Curen filaments. The manufacturer's product information does not list other materials.
Usage and Instructions
- Tilt the brush to a 45 degree angle, with the filaments half on the tooth and half on the gum.
- Brush tooth by tooth in small, gentle circles, with almost no pressure.
- Hold the brush loosely in your hand, like a violin bow.
- Rinse the brush after every use and leave it to dry upright.
Replace the toothbrush approximately every 3 months, and after recovering from an illness such as a cold or other infection.
Warnings
Curaprox advises against brushing with too much pressure, which can make a toothbrush wear out too quickly.
