Dentinox Teething Gel relieves teething pain and soothes the gums of babies from birth onwards.

It contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic to numb pain, and the antiseptic cetylpyridinium to help prevent infection.

Active Ingredients: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 0.33% w/w and Cetylpyridinium Chloride 0.1% w/w.

Other Ingredients: Purified Water, Sorbitol Solution 70% (non-crystallising), Xylitol, Ethanol 96%, Glycerol, Hydroxethylcellulose, Polyoxyl 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oils, and Pharmaceutical Liquid Flavour.

Apply a pea-sized amount (0.2 grams) of Dentinox Teething Gel with a clean finger to the affected area of gum.

The dose may be repeated if necessary after 3 hours, up to a maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours.

Treatment should be stopped once symptoms have resolved.

Not to be used for more than 7 days.

Parents or carers should seek medical attention if the child's condition deteriorates during treatment.

In case of vomiting, spitting or accidental ingestion, the dose should not be repeated immediately. The dose may be repeated if necessary after 3 hours.

Do not use Dentinox Teething Gel: If your baby is allergic (hypersensitive) to lidocaine, cetylpyridinium or any other ingredients.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Dentinox Teething Gel: If your baby is taking, or has recently taken, any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
