Drapolene Antiseptic Cream 100g is a versatile and effective solution for treating and preventing nappy rash and sore skin caused by incontinence in both babies and adults. Its unique 4-in-1 formulation not only prevents and treats nappy rash but also soothes the skin and forms a protective barrier against external irritants.

How does Drapolene Antiseptic Cream work? Drapolene Cream contains two antiseptics, benzalkonium chloride and cetrimide, which soothe and treat the rash while stopping the growth of bacteria that can cause irritation. It also contains white paraffin and lanolin, which moisturise the skin and form a protective barrier against external irritants.
Can Drapolene Antiseptic Cream be used for adults with incontinence? Yes, Drapolene Cream can be used to treat and prevent adult urinary dermatitis. Apply the cream to the affected area regularly and at each toilet visit to effectively treat, soothe, and protect the skin.
Is Drapolene Antiseptic Cream suitable for newborns? Yes, Drapolene Cream is suitable for newborns and can be used to prevent and treat nappy rash from birth onwards.
Are there any side effects or contraindications for Drapolene Antiseptic Cream? Allergic hypersensitivity reactions may occur in individuals who are sensitive to one or several components of Drapolene Cream, such as benzalkonium chloride, cetrimide, or lanolin. If an allergic hypersensitivity reaction is suspected, discontinue use and consult a health professional.
Active substances are: benzalkonium chloride 0.01% w/w (as benzalkonium chloride solution 0.02% w/w) and cetrimide 0.2% w/w.
Other ingredients are: white soft paraffin and wool fat (purified lanolin), cetyl alcohol, emulsifying wax (containing cetostearyl alcohol), chlorocresol, amaranth (E123), and purified water.
Usage and Instructions
The affected area should be washed and dried thoroughly.
Apply Drapolene Cream as required, paying particular attention to folds in the skin.
For nappy rash, use Drapolene Cream at each nappy change, having first cleaned and dried the nappy area.
For urinary dermatitis, regular use is advised.
For minor burns, sunburn and weather effects, apply as required.
