Ingredients
Liquid paraffin 40%w/w, cetomacrogol emulsifying wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol and macrogol cetostearyl ether), yellow soft paraffin 30%w/w.
Usage and Instructions
Apply Epimax Ointment for long-lasting, intensive relief. For use day, or night. It can be added to your bath to use as a skin cleanser.
Apply to skin as frequently as required, smoothing gently into the affected areas in the direction of hair growth. Can also be used as a soap substitute or bath additive. As a bath additive: melt about 4g (the size of a £2 coin) in hot water and add to the bath. Care should be taken as this can make the bath slippery
On the skin Apply Epimax Ointment to the affected skin area and smooth gently onto the skin in the direction of the hair growth.
As a skin cleanser You can use Epimax Ointment as a skin cleanser without losing additional skin moisture. Scoop a small amount from the tub, lather under warm water and then use as you would for a normal soap.
In the bath Soaking in the bath can dry your skin. Adding Epimax Ointment to the bath can prevent the skin from drying by creating a thin film over the skin, preventing moisture loss. To use in the bath, take 4g (about the size of a £2 coin) from the tub. Melt this in a tumbler of hot water, ensuring it has cooled sufficiently before adding to the bath. Do not apply hot water directly to the skin. When using Epimax Ointment as a bath additive, care should be taken, as it will make the surface of the bath slippery. Epimax ointment leaves your skin feeling soft and moist, and is gentle on the skin. It is suitable for all age ranges, including babies.
