Pregnancy: Do not take this medicine during the last 3 months of pregnancy, as it may harm your unborn baby or cause complications during delivery.
During the first 6 months of pregnancy, do not take ibuprofen unless absolutely necessary and advised by your doctor.
Use for more than a few days from 20 weeks of pregnancy may cause kidney problems in the unborn baby, potentially leading to low amniotic fluid levels or narrowing of a blood vessel in the baby's heart.
If treatment is necessary during pregnancy, the lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible time under medical advice.
Breastfeeding: If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. The SmPC advises avoiding NSAIDs while breastfeeding where possible.
Fertility: Ibuprofen may temporarily reduce female fertility by affecting ovulation. This effect is reversible after stopping the medicine.
Interactions with other medicines: Do not take this medicine with other NSAIDs unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking medicines including:
- Aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.

Driving and operating machinery: Ibuprofen may cause dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness or visual disturbances.
Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience any of these effects.
