Description
Benefits:
- Gaviscon Advance contains alginate, the most prescribed ingredient by UK doctors
- 9/10 pregnant women find Gaviscon Advance effective
- Long-lasting relief from acid reflux symptoms such as heartburn
- Gaviscon Advance Peppermint contains double the concentration of sodium alginate of Gaviscon Original
Gaviscon Advance Peppermint 500ml provides effective relief from heartburn and acid indigestion.
It contains double the concentration of the active substance sodium alginate compared to Gaviscon Original. It, therefore, provides the strongest Gaviscon treatment possible.
Gaviscon Advance Peppermint is one of the best options when it comes down to the Gaviscon range. This is because of the higher concentration of sodium alginate. Alginate is actually extracted from seaweed so it's totally natural which is nice. What alginate does is create a foam layer on top of the stomach contents which is what helps to prevent acid reflux or pepsin being refluxed.
As it's a liquid, you also get the benefit of the Gaviscon binding with anything acidic in your oesophagus and bringing them back down into the stomach to help prevent problems before they arise.
It is available in liquid format and is suitable for use in pregnancy.
