Pour the contents of the sachet into a glass of 125ml (or ¼ pint) of water. Stir well until all the powder has dissolved and the Movicol solution is clear or slightly hazy, then drink it.

For constipation, you can take 1-3 sachets a day, depending on the severity of your constipation.

If you have faecal impaction (which should be confirmed by your doctor), a dose of 8 laxative sachets a day is required.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
