Description
Napralief 250mg gastro-resistant tablets contain naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the short-term relief of pain and inflammation. Napralief is used to relieve muscular pain, joint pain, sprains, strains, back pain, neck pain, pain associated with sports injuries, and period pain in adults.
Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 250mg of naproxen and is designed to pass through the stomach before dissolving in the intestine. This may help reduce stomach irritation associated with some anti-inflammatory medicines. The tablets provide convenient short-term dosing for acute painful conditions and can help reduce swelling, stiffness, and discomfort associated with inflammation.
Napralief tablets are suitable for adults requiring temporary relief of inflammatory pain where treatment with an NSAID is appropriate. The medicine should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms.
Ingredients
Main ingredients: Naproxen 250mg per gastro-resistant tablet
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, glycerol, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer, triethyl citrate, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), simeticone emulsion
Usage and Instructions
Napralief 250mg gastro-resistant tablets are used for the short-term relief of muscular pain, joint pain, sprains, strains, lower back pain, neck pain, pain caused by sports injuries, and period pain in adults.
Adults should take two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after 6 to 8 hours if needed on the first day. On the second and third day, one tablet may be taken every 6 to 8 hours if required. Do not take more than three tablets in any 24-hour period and do not use for longer than three days unless advised by a doctor.
The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and preferably taken with or after food. Gastro-resistant tablets should not be crushed, broken, or chewed.
If vomiting occurs shortly after taking a dose, seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor before taking another tablet.
Avoid taking other NSAIDs, including ibuprofen or high-dose aspirin, while using Napralief. Alcohol may increase the risk of stomach irritation. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration needed to control symptoms.
