Description
Numark Dispersible Aspirin 75mg Tablets contain 75mg of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), a low-dose antiplatelet medicine used to help prevent further heart attacks and strokes in people who have previously experienced these conditions or undergone bypass surgery.
Aspirin helps prevent platelets in the blood from sticking together and forming blood clots, reducing the risk of further clot-related cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events.
Each pack contains 28 dispersible tablets intended for oral use. The tablets are dissolved in a glass of water before taking, providing a convenient once-daily formulation for people who have been advised to use low-dose aspirin.
A doctor should be consulted before starting long-term aspirin therapy to discuss the benefits and risks. A pharmacist can also provide advice on the appropriate use of this medicine.

Children and adolescents

Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning a pregnancy, seek medical advice before taking aspirin.
During the first six months of pregnancy, aspirin should not be used unless absolutely necessary and advised by a doctor. If required, the lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration.
From 20 weeks of pregnancy, taking aspirin for more than a few days may cause kidney problems in the unborn baby, which may reduce amniotic fluid, or cause narrowing of a blood vessel in the baby's heart.
During the last three months of pregnancy, do not take doses exceeding 100mg daily. Low doses of up to 100mg daily require strict obstetric monitoring under medical supervision.
Breastfeeding
Do not take this medicine while breastfeeding.
