Description
Nurofen Express targets headaches faster than standard paracetamol or ibuprofen with a 400mg dose.
Nurofen Express 256mg Caplets are absorbed quickly into the bloodstream to help target the source of pain - fast.
For relief from: Headache, Period pain, Dental pain, Feverishness, Migraine, Backache, Muscular pain, Rheumatic pain, Neuralgia, Cold and flu symptoms

Each Caplet contains Sodium Ibuprofen 256mg (equivalent to Ibuprofen 200mg)

The ink contains the following residual materials after application: shellac (E904), iron oxide black (E172), propylene glycol (E1520).
Usage and Instructions
Adults, the elderly and children & adolescents between 12 and 18 years:
Swallow 1 or 2 caplets with water up to three times a day as required.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24 hour period. If the product is required for more than 10 days, or if symptoms worsen a doctor should be consulted.
Children and adolescents between 12 and 18 years:
If the product is required for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen a doctor should be consulted.
Warnings
Do not take Nurofen Express if you:
Are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredient in this product or to aspirin or other painkillers.
Have ever had a stomach perforation, ulcer or bleeding.
Have had a worsening of asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose or facial swelling when previously taking ibuprofen, aspirin or similar medicines.
Have had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation when previously taking NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
Are taking other NSAIDS.
Are taking more than 75mg aspirin per day. If you are on low-dose aspirin (up to 75mg daily) talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Have severe liver or kidney problems.
Have heart problems, high blood pressure or blood coagluation disorder.
Have breathing difficulties.
Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy
Are under 12 years old.
Tell your pharmacist or doctor before taking Nurofen 200mg if you are currently taking other medication.
Side Effects
Common side effects of ibuprofen include:
- nausea or vomiting
- constipation or diarrhoea
- indigestion (dyspepsia) or abdominal pain
