What symptoms can Ovesse help with?
This cream aims to ease key signs of genitourinary syndrome of menopause in the vagina. Many users note less dryness, soreness, itch, burning and pain with sex over time. Some women also experience fewer urine leaks or cystitis episodes once tissue strength improves. Each body is unique, so effect speed and depth can vary.
Who is Ovesse 1mg/g Estriol Vaginal Cream for?
This cream is for women aged fifty or more who are at least one year post-menopause. It is aimed at those with clear vaginal menopause symptoms who want local HRT care. Women with a history of breast cancer, clotting disorders or other high-risk conditions must seek clinical advice before use. A review with a GP or menopause specialist can help weigh risks and expected benefit.
How does Ovesse work in the body?
The cream contains estriol, a milder form of the oestrogen hormone, in a low dose. Once applied in the vagina, it absorbs into the thin tissue and promotes cell growth. The lining becomes thicker, more moist and more resilient, and the vaginal pH shifts to a more protective range. Over weeks, this may reduce friction, ease pain and support urinary tract health.
How long does it take to notice a difference?
Many women feel some relief of dryness or burning within a few weeks. Full improvement in tissue strength, moisture and pH may take longer. As symptoms stabilise, some users move to a lower ongoing maintenance schedule. Regular review with a clinician helps ensure safe and appropriate use.
