This alcohol free peppermint mouthwash suits adults and older teens who need extra gum care. The chlorhexidine 0.2% formula kills harmful oral bacteria and helps reduce dental plaque. Dentists often recommend chlorhexidine rinses as short term support for gum health and healing. Many patients value its role in fresh breath care and oral hygiene support at home.

What does RxFarma Chlorhexidine Mouthwash help with?
This chlorhexidine mouthwash helps manage gum disease signs such as red, swollen or bleeding gums. It is also used for mouth ulcers, oral thrush and denture sore mouth care. Many dentists use chlorhexidine as part of plans to cut plaque and support gum healing. This rinse can suit people who need more than a standard cosmetic mouthwash.
How does chlorhexidine support gum health?
Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic that kills or slows many plaque forming bacteria in the mouth. By reducing these germs, it helps lower gum swelling, bleeding risk and infection risk. Evidence shows 0.2 percent chlorhexidine rinses can reduce plaque and improve gum health when used short term. This is why it is commonly used for gingivitis and after professional dental cleaning.
How does RxFarma Chlorhexidine Mouthwash compare with regular mouthwash?
Regular cosmetic mouthwashes mainly freshen breath and offer limited plaque control. Chlorhexidine mouthwashes are medicated and intended for defined treatment periods to manage gum problems. They provide stronger antibacterial action but have a higher risk of staining and taste changes. For this reason, they are best used when a dentist or pharmacist identifies a clear clinical need.
