Description
Non-Adherent wound dressing.
A low adherent wound contact material, suitable for the treatment of infection in minor burns, leg ulcers and superficial skin loss injuries. This dressing has been designed to be applied directly to the surface of the wound and covered with a sterile secondary dressing. Inadine is water soluble and easily removed from the skin or wound surface.
INADINE PVP-I Non-Adherent Dressing consists of a low adherent knitted viscose fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base containing 10% Povidone Iodine; equivalent to 1.0% available iodine.
INADINE PVP-I Non Adherent Dressing is a topical wound dressing consisting of a low adherent knitted viscose fabric which has been impregnated with an ointment containing 10% povidone iodine. (The dressing also contains polyethylene glycol (PEG) and purified water).
Ingredients
Iodine is a highly effective topical antimicrobial that has been used clinically in the treatment of wounds for more than 170 years. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with efficacy against bacteria, microbacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses.

Usage and Instructions
INADINE dressing is designed to protect the wound even if infected. INADINE is used for the management of ulcerative wounds and may also be used for the prevention of infection in minor burns and traumatic skin loss injuries. It provides a long-lasting antiseptic effect, which helps manage infection by bacteria, protozoa and fungal organisms over a period of time.
Warnings
In heavily infected wounds INADINE PVP-1 Non Adherant Dressing may also be used in conjunction with wth systemic antibiotics.
