What is Uniroid-HC Suppositories
Uniroid-HC Suppositories contain hydrocortisone and cinchocaine hydrochloride for the short-term relief of pain, irritation, and associated itching caused by internal haemorrhoids. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation. Cinchocaine is a local anaesthetic that relieves pain and discomfort.
Who are Uniroid-HC Suppositories for
Suitable for adults, the elderly, and children over 16 years with internal haemorrhoids. Do not use in children under 16 unless advised by a doctor.

Usage and Instructions
- Wash hands before and after use.
- Remove one suppository from the strip and peel away the plastic shell.
- Insert the suppository gently into the rectum, as far as comfortable.
- Avoid excessive handling as the suppository melts at body temperature.
Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to hydrocortisone, cinchocaine, other local anaesthetics, steroids, or any ingredient in the product.
- Do not use if you have tuberculosis or any local infection such as fungal or viral lesions in the anal area.
- Use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding only on medical advice.
- For rectal use only. Keep out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist or worsen after seven days, seek medical advice.
Side Effects
- Local irritation, pain, itching, or rash around the anus.
- With large doses or prolonged regular use, adrenal suppression may occur.
