Xailin Intense 0.3% HA Eye Drops are a 10ml preservative-free moisturising eye drop solution containing sodium hyaluronate 0.3%, a CE-marked medical device for intense hydration of dry eyes. Because they contain no preservatives, they can be used daily by people who wear any type of contact lens.

What causes the type of dry eye these drops are meant to relieve?

Dry eye symptoms like dryness, burning or tired eyes can be caused by prolonged screen use, watching television for long periods, dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms, or cigarette smoke. They can also follow eye surgery or injury, when constant hydration supports the eye's surface as it heals.

Can I use Xailin Intense while wearing contact lenses?

Yes. Xailin Intense can be used daily by people who wear any type of contact lens, as the formula is preservative-free.

Can I use Xailin Intense together with other eye drops?

Yes, but leave at least 15 minutes between applying a different eye drop and using Xailin Intense, and apply Xailin Intense last.

Composition: Sodium hyaluronate 0.3%.

Other ingredients: Glycerin, sodium chloride, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and highly purified water.

To apply the drops:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
2. Remove the cap, tilt your head back slightly and hold the bottle upside down.
3. Gently pull down your lower eyelid and squeeze one drop into the conjunctival sac, without letting the dropper tip touch your eye.
4. Close your eyes and blink a few times to spread the drop across the eye's surface.
5. Repeat for the other eye if needed, then replace the cap.
6. Do not rinse your eye with water or any other liquid afterwards.

Apply one drop into the affected eye(s) 3-4 times a day, or more often if needed. This is suitable for children aged 1 month and over, as well as adults.

If you also use other eye drops, leave at least 15 minutes between products and apply Xailin Intense last.

Once opened, use within 30 days of continuous use, or within 90 days if used with breaks in between. Store in a dry place at 5-35°C.

The following precautions apply:

• Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.
• For external use only, applied to the conjunctival sac of the eye.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• Never let the dropper tip touch your eye or any other surface, as this may contaminate the solution.
• If using other eye drops, wait at least 15 minutes before applying Xailin Intense, and apply it last.
• This is a reusable medical device intended for use by one patient only; do not share the bottle.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children, and away from sources of heat.
