Is Mounjaro available on the NHS?
Mounjaro is now available on the NHS in England for weight loss, but only for people with severe obesity and multiple related health conditions. To qualify, you generally need a BMI of 40 or above (or 37.5+ if from certain minority ethnic backgrounds) and at least four weight-related health problems such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. Access is being rolled out gradually, so most people will not be eligible unless they have the highest clinical need.
