Each suppository contains:
- Hydrocortisone acetate 10 mg
- Zinc oxide
- Bismuth oxide
- Bismuth subgallate
- Balsam Peru
- Benzyl benzoate
Other ingredients:
- Kaolin light
- Suppocire BS2 pastilles (hard fat)
Usage and Instructions
What the medicine is for
Used to relieve:
- Uncomplicated internal piles (haemorrhoids)
- Itching and swelling around the back passage
How to use
- Wash the anal area gently and dry with a soft towel.
- Remove the plastic cover from the suppository.
- Insert one suppository into the back passage (anus) far enough that it won’t slip out.
- Use:
- One suppository at night,
- One in the morning,
- One after each bowel movement.
Do not use more than:
- 3 suppositories per day
- 7 consecutive days
This medicine is not for children under 18.
Warnings
Do not use if:
- Allergic to any ingredient.
- You have a fungal, viral or bacterial skin infection.
- You have a raw or infected skin condition.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are under 18.
Speak to a doctor before use if:
- You have rectal bleeding or blood in stool.
- Symptoms change or worsen.
- Symptoms do not improve after 7 days.
- You use other corticosteroids.
