Is Cow & Gate 6-12 Months Follow-on Milk Powder suitable as a first infant milk?
Cow & Gate follow on milk is intended only for babies over six months and should not be used as a breast milk substitute before this age. It is recommended as part of a balanced diet once weaning has begun rather than as a newborn formula.
How does this follow-on milk support my baby’s development?
The formula contains vitamin D and calcium for normal bone and teeth development, iron to help support cognitive development, and DHA omega 3 as required by infant formula regulations supporting normal visual and brain development. These nutrients complement a varied weaning diet.
How many feeds can I expect from the 800g pack?
Information from similar Cow & Gate follow on powder formats indicates an 800g pack typically yields around twenty to twenty four feeds depending on your chosen feed volume and preparation. This format usually includes a convenient scoop and leveller for accurate measuring within the pack.
