Usage and Instructions
Kendamil Classic Follow-On Milk is intended for babies aged 6–12 months as part of a mixed/weaning diet.
Add 1 level scoop (4.3 g) of powder for every 30 ml of water.
Typical preparation amounts:
- 150 ml water: 5 level scoops
- 180 ml water: 6 level scoops
- 210 ml water: 7 level scoops
From 6 months, a baby may need approximately 600 ml of Kendamil Follow-On Milk per day, either as a drink or incorporated into food. Speak to a healthcare professional if you need individual feeding advice.
Preparation
- Wash your hands and sterilise all feeding equipment according to the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill a kettle with 1 litre of freshly run tap water. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
- Boil the water and allow it to cool for approximately 30 minutes so that it remains at a temperature of at least 70°C.
- Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle.
- Using the scoop supplied, add the correct number of level scoops. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.
- Attach a sterilised teat and cap to the bottle and shake well until the powder has dissolved.
- Cool the prepared formula to approximately body temperature by holding the closed bottle under cold running water.
- Always test the temperature of the prepared formula on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
