Usage and Instructions

Pre-operative skin wash:
- Wash with about 25 ml, starting from the face downward, rinse, and repeat.
- Perform the wash the day before and the day of the procedure.
Surgical hand antisepsis:
- Wet hands and forearms, apply 5 ml, wash for 1 minute, rinse, repeat for 2 minutes, then rinse and dry.
General antiseptic wash:
- Wet the skin, apply about 5 ml undiluted, wash for 1 minute, rinse thoroughly, and dry.

Avoid contact with eyes, ears, and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
Do not use in the middle ear, on nerve tissue, or where the eardrum is perforated.
Avoid pooling of solution in skin folds or on bedding — wipe away excess to prevent irritation or burns.
Flammable: keep away from open flames until skin is completely dry.
Use with caution in newborns, especially premature infants, due to risk of chemical burns.
The effect of chlorhexidine can be reduced by soaps, detergents, or hypochlorite bleaches.
In cases of head or spinal injury, or ear trauma, only use if clearly necessary.
Accidental contact with eyes during surgery can cause serious corneal injury or permanent damage.
