Description
Numark Hayfever Relief 120mg 10 Tablets are film-coated tablets containing 120mg of fexofenadine hydrochloride, a non-drowsy antihistamine. They relieve the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), such as sneezing, an itchy, runny or blocked nose and itchy, red and watery eyes, in adults and children aged 12 years and over. One tablet a day starts to relieve symptoms within 1 hour and lasts for 24 hours, so a single daily dose covers the whole day.
Key Features
- Non-drowsy antihistamine: Fexofenadine is described in the leaflet as a non-drowsy antihistamine, although drowsiness is still listed as a possible side effect.
- Works within 1 hour: Each tablet starts to relieve hayfever symptoms within 1 hour.
- Lasts 24 hours: One tablet keeps working for 24 hours, so you only need to take it once a day.
- Nose and eye symptoms: It relieves sneezing, an itchy, runny or blocked nose, and itchy, red and watery eyes.
- 10-day supply: The pack contains 10 tablets, enough for 10 days at the recommended dose of one tablet daily.
Is Numark Hayfever Relief the same as Allevia?
Numark Hayfever Relief 120mg Film-Coated Tablets contain the same active ingredient at the same strength as Allevia 120mg tablets: 120mg of fexofenadine hydrochloride per tablet. The inactive ingredients can differ between brands, so check the full ingredient list if you have an intolerance.
Will Numark Hayfever Relief make me drowsy?
Fexofenadine is a non-drowsy antihistamine and is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or use machines. Drowsiness is still listed as a common side effect, so check how the tablets affect you before driving or operating machinery.
Can I take Numark Hayfever Relief with indigestion remedies?
Indigestion remedies containing aluminium and magnesium can reduce how much fexofenadine your body absorbs. Leave about 2 hours between taking Numark Hayfever Relief and an indigestion remedy of this type.
