Description
Nurofen Cold & Flu Tablets 24s can help to relieve you of the symptoms related to colds and the flu.
Containing Ibuprofen and Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, this dual action tablet offers powerful, effective relief in clearing a blocked nose and sinuses, curing headaches and migraines.
Nurofen tablets also help in removing pain, lowering your temperature and easing the discomfort of a sore throat. You’re left feeling brand new and ready to get on with your day.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
Ibuprofen 200mg and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 30mg
Other Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose
Sodium starch glycolate Type A
Hypromellose
Magnesium stearate
Talc
Mastercote yellow FA 0156
Black printing ink (The ink contains the following residual materials after application: shellac (E904), iron oxide black (E172), propylene glycol (E1520)).
Usage and Instructions
For oral administration and short-term use only.
Adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years and over:
Take 1 or 2 tablets with water up to 3 times a day as required.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24 hours.
If symptoms persist or worsen or if the product is required for more than 10 days, consult a doctor.
Warnings
Do not take if you:
Have (or have ever had two or more episodes of) a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.
Are allergic to Ibuprofen or any other ingredient of the product, aspirin or other related painkillers.
Are taking other NSAID painkillers or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg.
Avoid with MAOI (Monoamine oxidase inhibitors for depression) therapy.
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you:
Have or have had asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a stroke, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems
Are pregnant
Are a smoker
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Side Effects
Possible side effects whilst taking Nurofen Cold and Flu Tablets:
- Reactions such as headache, dizziness, skin rash, depression may occur occasionally with ibuprofen.
- Gastric irritation, nausea, dyspepsia and stomach bleeding.
- Side effects with Pseudoephedrine are rare but may cause sleep disturbance, increased heart beat, skin rash, dry mouth, nose or throat or difficulty in passing urine. Rarely hallucinations have been reported.
