Saccharomyces boulardii is most commonly used for treating and preventing diarrhea, including infectious types such as rotaviral diarrhea in children, diarrhea caused by gastrointestinal (GI) take-over (overgrowth) by "bad" bacteria in adults, traveler's diarrhea, and diarrhea associated with tube feedings. It is also used to prevent and treat diarrhea caused by the use of antibiotics.
Some studies also show that taking Saccharomyces boulardii by mouth could potentially help improve the appearance of acne.

Each capsule provides 5 billion live cultures.
Live cultures: Saccharomyces boulardii (250mg); vegetarian capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
Usage and Instructions
Can safely be used either on an occasional or daily basis, depending on reasons for use.
Adults and children (1 year & over): Take 1 to 4 capsules depending on severity of symptoms, and up to 6 capsules daily; or as professionally directed. OptiBac Probiotics may be used on an ongoing basis.
Please note that although this product can be taken by children, diarrhea in children should be evaluated by a healthcare professional before using Saccharomyces boulardii.
