Usage and Instructions
Important: Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Incorrect preparation may make your baby ill.
- Wash and sterilise
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Sterilise all feeding utensils according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Prepare the water
- Boil 1 litre of freshly run water.
- Leave the kettle to cool for 30 minutes, but no longer.
- Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle according to the feeding guide.
- Take care to avoid scalding.
- Do not use artificially softened water or repeatedly boiled water.
- Measure the powder
- Use only the scoop provided with the product.
- Level the powder using the built-in leveller.
- Do not press or heap the powder in the scoop.
- Mix the feed
- Add the correct amount of powder to the measured water.
- Attach the sterilised teat and cap.
- Shake the bottle vertically and vigorously for 25 seconds until the powder is dissolved.
- Cool and feed
- Cool the bottle under running tap water.
- Check the temperature of the feed before giving it to your baby.
- Feed immediately.
