What are Clarityn tablets?
Hay fever and allergy sufferers rejoice! Clarityn tablets are your solution for sneezing, runny nose, coughing, and itchy or watery eyes. Just pop one tablet a day to keep those pesky symptoms in check. It's a breeze!
How do Clarityn tablets provide relief?
Thanks to the anti-histamine, loratadine, Clarityn tablets work fast to block histamine in your body, preventing hay fever symptoms like sneezing, coughing, and itching before they start.
What happens during a hay fever attack?
When you have hay fever, your body releases histamine in response to allergens like pollen. This histamine then triggers symptoms like sneezing, coughing, and itching as your body tries to clear out the irritant.
Can I use Clarityn with other hay fever treatments?
Clarityn can be combined with some other hay fever remedies, such as nasal sprays and eye drops, but it's always best to check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining medications. This can help avoid unwanted side effects or interactions.
Can I take Clarityn with other medications?
If you're taking any other medication, whether prescription or not, it's important to consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Clarityn. Certain medications can interact, causing side effects or reducing effectiveness.
Is Clarityn safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Pregnant women should speak to their doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication, as it's best to avoid them during pregnancy if possible. Clarityn should not be taken while breastfeeding, as some of the active ingredients may pass to your baby in your breast milk.
Can I drive after taking Clarityn?
Typically, Clarityn does not cause drowsiness or dizziness. However, if you experience these or any other side effects that may affect your ability to drive, do not drive or operate machinery until you're sure it's safe.
