What are ORAC units?

ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. Lamberts explains that it is a unit used to compare the effectiveness of different antioxidants. Two OracOmega capsules provide 2,500 ORAC units.

Is OracOmega suitable for vegetarians or vegans?

Lamberts does not describe OracOmega as suitable for vegetarians or vegans. It contains fish oil, and the capsule shell contains bovine gelatin.

Can I take OracOmega if I already take a green tea supplement?

Lamberts advises not to take OracOmega with other green tea products, and not to exceed 800mg of EGCG a day.

Other ingredients: antioxidant (mixed tocopherols), capsule shell (bovine gelatin, glycerol, colours: iron oxide and copper chlorophyll), thickener (beeswax), sunflower lecithin.

Allergen information: Contains fish. Free from wheat, barley, soya, eggs, milk (and milk products), lactose, nuts, sulphites, celery, shellfish, yeast and gluten-containing ingredients.

Adults aged 18 and over take 2 capsules daily, always with a meal.
