- You have chronic alcoholism or another condition that may reduce glutathione levels.

A serious condition called metabolic acidosis has been reported in people with certain risk factors who used paracetamol regularly for a prolonged period or took paracetamol with flucloxacillin. Seek medical advice immediately if you develop a combination of deep, rapid breathing, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting or loss of appetite.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines you are taking. This is particularly important for metoclopramide or domperidone, colestyramine, flucloxacillin, warfarin or other anticoagulants. Regular daily use of paracetamol with anticoagulants may increase the risk of bleeding, although occasional doses do not usually have a significant effect.
Speak to a healthcare professional before taking Panadol ActiFast if you are pregnant. Paracetamol may be used during pregnancy when clinically needed, at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Panadol ActiFast may be taken while breastfeeding at the recommended dose.
Panadol ActiFast has no known effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery. Drowsiness may, however, be a warning sign of metabolic acidosis when it occurs with other symptoms such as deep, rapid breathing, nausea, vomiting or loss of appetite.
Stop taking the medicine and seek medical advice immediately if you develop a severe allergic reaction, swelling of the mouth or face, breathing difficulties, a serious skin reaction, unexplained bruising or bleeding, or signs of liver problems.
Talk to a doctor immediately if you take too much Panadol ActiFast, even if you feel well. Too much paracetamol can cause delayed, serious liver damage and requires urgent medical attention.
