1. Is this an over-the-counter medication? NO, this is a prescription-only medication (POM), but medino pharmacy offers a private erectile dysfunction service, called PGD, where a trained pharmacist can dispense some medications for erectile dysfunction, after carrying out a clinical assessment.

• Each tablet contains 20 mg tadalafil.
• Other ingredients: lactose anhydrous, poloxamer 188, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K-25, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, sodium laurilsulfate and colloidal anhydrous silica.
• Film coating: lactose monohydrate, hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172) and triacetin.

• Take one 20 mg tablet at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
• Do not take more than once a day.
• The medicine may remain effective for up to 36 hours.
• Swallow whole with water.
• Can be taken with or without food.
• It is not intended for continuous daily use.

• Do not take with nitrates, amyl nitrite or riociguat.
• Do not take if you have serious heart disease, had a heart attack within 90 days, had a stroke within 6 months, have low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure, or have previously lost vision due to NAION.
• Tell your doctor if you have sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, leukaemia, penile deformity, severe liver problems or severe kidney problems.
• Stop taking and seek medical advice immediately if you develop sudden loss or reduction of vision or hearing.
• Avoid excessive alcohol.
• Grapefruit juice may affect how the medicine works.
• Check how tadalafil affects you before driving or using machinery.

• Seek immediate medical help for allergic reactions, chest pain, an erection lasting more than 4 hours, or sudden loss of vision.
• Common side-effects include headache, back pain, muscle aches, pain in the arms or legs, facial flushing, blocked nose and indigestion.
• Other side-effects can include dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, reflux, blurred vision, fast heartbeat, blood pressure changes, nosebleeds, ringing in the ears and swelling of the hands, feet or ankles.
