These tablets are not intended for pain relief. They are formulated for long-term prevention of blood clots, heart attacks, and strokes, not for short-term pain management.

Not everyone can take these tablets. People with allergies to aspirin or NSAIDs, a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, or severe liver or kidney problems should avoid them. Always consult your doctor first.

• Active ingredient: Aspirin 75 mg (as acetylsalicylic acid).
• Other ingredients: Potato starch, calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, methacrylic acid copolymer (contains sodium lauryl sulfate and polysorbate), macrogol, simethicone.

• Adults (including elderly) and children over 16 years:
  • Take 1–2 tablets once daily for long-term use.
  • Your doctor may advise up to 4 tablets daily in certain situations.
  • Swallow tablets whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break them.
  • Take with or after food to reduce stomach irritation.
• Children under 16 years:
  • Do not give, unless specifically instructed by a doctor.
• Overdose:
  • Seek urgent medical help. Symptoms include vomiting, dehydration, tinnitus, vertigo, dizziness, headache, nausea, breathing changes, and sweating.
• Missed dose:
  • Take the next dose when due.
  • Do not double the dose.

Do not take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to aspirin, NSAIDs, or any ingredients in the tablets.
• Have or have ever had a stomach ulcer.
• Have a bleeding disorder (e.g. haemophilia).
• Have or have had gout.
• Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy at doses above 100 mg/day.

Speak to your doctor before taking if you:

• Have asthma, allergies, nasal polyps, indigestion or infection.
• Have kidney, liver, or heart problems.
• Are dehydrated.
• Have high blood pressure or G6PD deficiency.
• Are elderly or diabetic.
• Are taking other medicines such as:
  • Anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin),
  • NSAIDs, corticosteroids,
  • ACE inhibitors or ARBs,
  • SSRIs, methotrexate, diuretics, phenytoin, valproate, mifepristone, and others listed in the leaflet.

Other warnings:

• Avoid alcohol while taking aspirin.
• May affect fertility in women (reversible on stopping).
• Special precautions are required during pregnancy (see leaflet details).

Stop taking and seek medical help immediately if you develop:

• Allergic reactions: hives, rash, swelling of face, lips, tongue, wheezing, or asthma attack.
• Severe or persistent indigestion, stomach pain, or signs of stomach bleeding (black stools, vomiting blood).
• Symptoms of bleeding in the brain (sudden severe headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, loss of balance).

Other possible side effects include:

• Stomach upset, feeling sick.
• Increased tendency to bleed.
• Anaemia or other blood disorders.
• Mouth ulcers.
• Increased susceptibility to infections.
• Bruising more easily.
• Slight blood loss leading to iron-deficiency anaemia (with long-term use).
• Diarrhoea.
• Blood in urine.
• Stevens-Johnson syndrome or severe skin reactions.
• Liver problems (especially at high doses).
