Zeroderm Ointment is an emollient which can help to soothe the symptoms of dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
Zeroderm Ointment is an emollient, which means that every time you use this product a barrier is formed over your skin. This helps to keep moisture in your skin, hydrating and moisturising areas of dry skin.
It also helps to protect the skin, and is a perfect substitute for soap. Everyday soaps, shampoos and shower gels usually dry out the skin and can make skin conditions like eczema worse. Using an emollient soap substitute like Zeroderm Ointment instead of normal soap for handwashing and bathing can help improve your skin.
Zeroderm Ointment does not contain fragrance, SLS, colouring, additives or preservatives.
Eczema is a common dry skin condition which can make areas of your skin itchy and dry. It is common in children and some children can grow out of the condition, but it can also occur for the first time in adults.
Ingredients
Liquid Paraffin, White Soft Pariffin, Cetearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60.
Usage and Instructions
As an emollient: Apply to the affected area as often as required. Smooth gently into the skin, following the direction of the hair growth.
As a bath additive: Melt about 4g (roughly a teaspoon) of Zeorderm in hot water in a suitable container. Then add to the bath ensuring that the water has sufficiently cooled before getting in.
As a soap substitute: Take a small amount of Zeroderm from the tub, lather it under warm water and use as required when washing or in the shower. Pat skin dry.
Warnings
Do not use Zeroderm if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
For external use only, keep out of contact with eyes, mucous membranes, or other sensitive areas.
Do not apply to broken, badly cracked, bleeding, or infected skin.
If you use this product in the bath, be aware that your bath may become slippery after use.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Store in original packaging, do not use if expiry date printed on packaging has passed.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
