Usage and Instructions

Warnings
The following precautions apply when using E45 Itch Relief Cream:
- Do not use if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to lauromacrogols, urea, or any of the other ingredients.
- Do not use on widespread inflamed skin (acute erythroderma), or on skin that is oozing or infected.
- May cause irritation if applied to broken or inflamed skin.
- Fabric that has been in contact with this cream, including clothing and bedding, burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard; avoid smoking or naked flames.
- If you are using other medicines on the same area of skin, such as corticosteroids, dithranol or fluorouracil, be aware that urea can increase how much of these is absorbed through the skin; check with your doctor or pharmacist.
- Avoid applying to the breast area immediately before breastfeeding.
Side Effects
The following effects have been reported, though how often they occur is not known:
- Hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions
- Pustules at the site of application
- A burning sensation on the skin
- Itching
