Description
Lamberts Vitamin B-50 Complex 120 Tablets is a vegan food supplement that provides 50mg each of thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2) and pantothenic acid (B5), together with niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, choline, inositol and PABA. Lamberts describes it as a high strength B vitamin complex, and its label highlights pantothenic acid, which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It gives you eight B vitamins, plus choline, inositol and PABA, in a single daily tablet.
Key Features
- High strength B complex: Lamberts describes this as a high strength, one-a-day B vitamin complex. Its Vitamin B-100 Complex provides higher amounts of each B vitamin.
- Pantothenic acid: Each tablet provides 50mg of pantothenic acid, which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- B vitamin functions: Several of the B vitamins in this formula contribute to the normal function of the immune system and to normal psychological function. Others contribute to the maintenance of normal skin.
- Choline and inositol included: Each tablet provides 50mg of choline bitartrate and 50mg of inositol, alongside 15mg of PABA.
- Suitable for vegetarians and vegans: The tablets are coated, and Lamberts describes them as taste free.
How does Vitamin B-50 Complex differ from Vitamin B-100 Complex?
Both are one-a-day coated tablets from Lamberts. Vitamin B-50 Complex provides 50mg each of thiamin, riboflavin and pantothenic acid, 50mg NE of niacin, 5mg of vitamin B6, 50µg each of vitamin B12 and biotin, 50mg each of choline and inositol, and 15mg of PABA. Vitamin B-100 Complex provides twice these amounts of every one of these, except folic acid, where both provide 400µg. Lamberts says its Vitamin B-100 Complex is typically used for about two months, after which its B-50 complex provides adequate levels of the B vitamins.
How much vitamin B6 is in each tablet?
Each tablet provides 5mg of vitamin B6. NHS advice from the Department of Health and Social Care is not to take more than 10mg of vitamin B6 a day from supplements unless a doctor advises it, so check any other supplements you take for added vitamin B6.
How long does a pack of 120 tablets last?
At the directed 1 tablet a day, a pack of 120 tablets lasts 120 days.
