E45 Cream 50g is a moisturising emollient cream that relieves dry, flaking and chapped skin, including conditions such as ichthyosis, traumatic dermatitis, sunburn, dry-stage eczema and some types of dry psoriasis. It's suitable for adults, the elderly, children and infants from 1 month old, so the same tube can be used to treat dry skin across the whole family.

E45 Cream is not itself flammable, but dressings, clothing and bedding that have been in contact with it can catch fire more easily, even after washing. Keep away from naked flames and cigarettes while wearing clothing or dressings that have the cream on them.

Ingredients
Active ingredients: Anhydrous lanolin (1.0% w/w), light liquid paraffin (12.6% w/w) and white soft paraffin (14.5% w/w).
Other ingredients: Glyceryl monostearate, cetyl alcohol, sodium cetostearyl sulphate, carbomer, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl hydroxybenzoate (E216), sodium hydroxide, citric acid monohydrate and purified water.
Usage and Instructions
Apply E45 Cream to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day. It's for external use on the skin only and can be used by adults, the elderly, children and infants over 1 month old.
Warnings
The following precautions apply when using E45 Cream:
- Dressings, clothing and bedding that have been in contact with this cream can catch fire more easily, even after washing; keep away from naked flames and do not smoke while wearing them.
- For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes, other mucous membranes and broken or infected skin.
- Do not use if you're allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Contains cetyl alcohol, which may occasionally cause a local skin reaction such as contact dermatitis.
- If you use minoxidil on the scalp, using this cream on the same area at the same time may increase minoxidil absorption into the body.
